Growing together

Callystar was established in 2024 as a joint venture between Dutch tomato growers and Moroccan entrepreneurs. Together, we are building a progressive horticultural company in Agadir. Our strength lies in combining Dutch technology and knowledge with local craftsmanship.

The company is led by General Manager Abdelghani Meghras and Project Manager Jop Hendriks, who are jointly responsible for the day-to-day operations and strategic direction.

We grow mainly cherry tomatoes on coco substrate, using smart sensors to optimally control our watering. We are also conducting trials to recirculate water so that we are even more efficient with this valuable resource. We use the sun as our main energy source and aim for maximum sustainability in our cultivation.

Growers United

Callystar is a proud member of Growers United. Our location in Morocco enables us to supply cherry tomatoes to Growers United customers year-round.
